"There is but one temple in the
Universe... and that is the human body. Nothing is holier than that
high form. We touch heaven when we lay our hand upon the human
body."

Therapeutic Massage Techniques
A brief description of techniques that may be used during your
session are listed below. A single technique or a combination may be
used during each session.
Lymphatic Drainage
This technique uses gentle movements to aid the body in
reducing areas of stagnation in the lymphatic system. This process
improves the immune system as well as the function of other organs
and body systems.
CranioSacral Light touch
which detects and releases imbalances and relieves undue pressure on
the craniosacral system (brain and spinal cord area).
Myofascial Release
Alleviates adverse effects of inflammation, tension, and trauma
releasing the adhesions within the connective tissue throughout the
body to relax and move without restrictions.
Swedish Massage A
technique using long gliding strokes, kneading, friction, and
tapping motions which helps heal many ailments by positively
affecting the nerves, muscles, glands, and circulation.
Deep Tissue Massage Uses
compression and friction to reach the deep portions of thick muscles
in order to release toxins and tension.
Reflexology An
acupressure-type technique performed on the hands and feet. Each
part of the body corresponds to a reflex point on the feet.
Stimulating the reflex point stimulates the natural healing energy
of the related organ.
Reiki The
use of healing energy to balance the seven chakras (an elaborate,
subtle system of energy). Relieves pain, restores vitality, and aids
in spiritual growth.
Aromatherapy Essential
oils are chosen to meet each person's needs.
Used with massage for curative and rejuvenating effects. |
